Have you always wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren't quite ready to take the plunge to take a certification course, then Discover Scuba Diving is for you!
Although not a certified scuba course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what exploring the underwater world is like. To register for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior diving experience is necessary, but you must be in reasonable physical condition. Are you ready to try?
Your instructor will accompany you in your first diving experience: Certified instructor, but above all passionate about scuba diving!
The French Riviera and in particular the Port-Cros National Park is without doubt one of the most wonderful and magical places to have your first diving experience!
Your first underwater trip must be an unforgettable moment and we will bring you all the comfort.
We will spend all the time necessary for this experience to be exceptional, for it to make you discover a new pleasure: that of weightlessness, of aquatic silence!
The DSD is an advanced introduction to scuba diving so that you no longer have any doubts and jump into the deep end!
You will first have a small technical part including explanations and fitting. This will help you understand the general operation of your diving equipment. We will provide you with all the basic scuba gear you will use, including a mask, fins, regulator, buoyancy compensator, measuring instruments and a scuba tank.
You will learn the basic safety guidelines and techniques needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional, you will practice some additional exercises in shallow water to prepare you for your adventure. Be prepared to: Review the scuba gear you use to dive and find out how easily you move underwater with your gear. Find out what it's like to breathe underwater. Learn the key techniques you will use on every scuba dive. Have fun swimming and exploring.

The ease with which you will evolve in the aquatic environment will certainly encourage you to continue this adventure towards the Open Water diver course and discover some of our diving spots which are renowned for being wonderful and magical.
The DSD Padi course allows you to earn training credit towards the Open Water course for one year! This allows you to validate dive 1 of the Open Water course (see with the instructor for more details).
Dive time: Two dives of approximately 30 minutes each, maximum depth 12 meters on the 2nd dive.
